In September 2007 we acquired J&J Haslett, a major food wholesaler and cash & carry business in Northern Ireland.

To grow and build retailer relationships. And to use our scale and buying power to maximum benefit for our customers. And, like all our consumer brands, to focus on the community.

In fact Mace already has a strong reputation for community active retailing. With an almost 50-year track record in Northern Ireland, Mace stores have a strong market presence with 200 outlets throughout the region.

We are now in the process of fully integrating our Northern Ireland Mace stores into the Group, bringing real benefit to the 200 Mace retailers in NI and the communities they serve.
