Our aim is to ensure suppliers consistently meet our exacting high standards of safety, quality and value.
This means that in all parts of our business we are:
• reviewing purchasing strategies to improve the range, price and quality of our products;
• looking for new ways to improve our fresh, local offer– in the Republic of Ireland, 75 per cent of our products are either produced or manufacturered in Ireland;
• insisting on the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene;
• encouraging supplier innovation and adapting our offer to meet changing consumer needs;
• continuing to apply rigorous standards of quality and nutrition in our own brand products. We only work with suppliers that can guarantee the finest quality products and highest possible standards of food safety and hygiene.
